Port Captain

JOB VACANCY PORT CAPTAIN
Responsibilities:

• Conduct management vessel inspections
• Assist in inspections and scheduling
• Ensuring that vessels are ready
• Develop and administer operating and cost control procedures on company vessels
• Assist in new project development
• Interface with customers on an on-going basis
• Willing to be the captain of the ship if needed.

Requirements:

• Max 40 years old, 5 years as a master on AHTS vessel
• Ability to converse in simple English and Bahasa
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree preferably in Maritime Studies min. ANT II or equivalent experience
• Have DP certificate (Min DP basic) and DPA
• Knowledge of AHTS vessel and transportation industry
• Perform inspection of vessels on repair and maintenance standard and procedure
• Ability to deal with others using courtesy, tact and good judgment
• English is a must
• Must be thoroughly familiar with ship, terminal/refinery operations.
