Responsibilities:

• Analyzing complex financial reports and records;
• Assisting with financial and tax audits;
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers;
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process;
• Support month-end and year-end close process;
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements:

• Must have an Accounting degree and at least 4 years experience;
• Strong Computer Skills;
• Accuracy in daily work and other projects;
• Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines;
• Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of Manager of Financial Reporting;
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with vendors and other Pinkerton employees;
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process;
• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
