[Job Opening] Sr. Economist

Responsibilities:

• Using SQL and Python to deep dive into the data and answer complex business questions
• Use visualization libraries like plotly, seaborn, matplotlib to visualize key insights from rich data
• Build simulation tools combining python and google sheets
• Use statistical techniques & methodologies to design and analyze various experiments
• Build dashboards using Tableau / Power BI / Python to monitor business performance & insights
• Write analytical reports in docs and slides
• Present analysis findings to business stakeholders; facilitate business discussion driven by data & analytics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Computer Science / MIS / Industrial Engineering / Mathematics / other quantitative disciplines
• Work experience between 0 - 4 years. Fresh graduates with stellar academic (GPA > 3.7) & extracurricular achievements are encouraged!
• Participation in math / science / programming / business case study competitions is a plus
• SQL, Python / R skills will be advantageous, but not mandatory for strong candidates.
• Good communication skills - the candidate is expected to write analysis reports and present to business stakeholders
