Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain database system and model for dashboard and report visualization
• Create analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, optimizing data flow, re-designing infrastructure, etc.
• Set and maintain the groundwork and data infrastructure for a longer term growth of the company
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Optimize data retrieval or collection from various systems for cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, IT, engineering, applied mathematics or other related fields      
• 1-3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence
• Good communications skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia to work across departments to understand what business leaders want to gain from the company’s large datasets
• Experience in multiple programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and SQL
• Experience in Power BI or similar BI environment is highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with complex ETL, unstructured datasets, and data warehousing tools
• Track record of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-pace environment
• Tech enthusiast, self-starter, critical thinker, problem-solver, and passionate individual
• Prior experiences in smartphone, e-commerce, telecommunication & media, retail & marketing, sales & distribution, and technology are plus point
