Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable university, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a System Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
• Effective communication skills and fluent in English (both verbal and written). (TOEFL 550)
• Ability to work well under pressure and self-motivated.
• Experience in managing large-scale enterprise server environments is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and DevOps practices is a plus.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven work experience as a System Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer or similar role, with specific expertise in AWS cloud services. (2 years’ experience)
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). (2 years’ experience, or expert level)
• Proficient with Windows and Linux / Unix-based operating systems, VMWare suite, and other virtualization platform. (2 years’ experience, or expert level)
• Good understanding of networking principles and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and load balancing concepts. (2 years’ experience, or intermediate level)
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Nagios, Zabbix). (1 year experience, or beginner level)
• Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef). (2 years’ experience, or intermediate level)
• Proficiency in incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA Service Management, Fresh service, ServiceNow) for tracking and resolving production incidents. (1 year experience, or beginner level)
• Hands on experience in replication technology. (1 year experience, or beginner level)
• Hands on experience in Windows Server or Linux cluster technology. (1 year experience, or beginner level)

Responsibilities :

• Design and deploy solutions across multiple data centers on the VMware platform.
• Perform system administration on Windows Server and Linux OS (e.g., installation, configuration, maintenance, and software updates)
• Perform maintenance, vulnerability patching, and performance optimization of cloud services and workloads.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, including backups, partitioning, performance optimization, and security.
• Implement orchestration platforms and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Monitor performance and ensure reliability of cloud resources, servers, and containers.
• Create documentation including standards, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Manage and maintain server hardware and storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and improve server and storage issues.
• Be flexible for tasks that require work outside of office hours and weekend on-call support.
